Facebook Launches New App That Looks Like SnapChat

Facebook has launched a new Snapchat-like app less than a year after it killed its old Snapchat-like app Slingshot, according to Recode. What's special about this one is that it was built specifically with emerging markets in mind.

The new application called Flash was reportedly created by a team within the social network in charge of building apps for developing nations.

They also could've been the ones behind Facebook and Messenger Lite. Flash is less than 25MB in size, which is much smaller than Snapchat for Android that's roughly 70MB. It was also built to work even in areas with limited connectivity.

Facebook recently emulated many of Snapchat's selfie filters and other features. It even tried to buy the famous "Asian Snapchat" Snow. Looks like the social network doesn't just want a piece of Snapchat's pie, it also wants to conquer markets where the ephemeral messaging app isn't as big.

It's unclear which countries will actually get Flash, but people in one country can now download it whenever they want: Facebook has already launched the app for Android devices in Brazil on Tuesday.

Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro officially unveiled as the manufacturer's first phone with 6GB of RAM

Following a series of rumors and leaks, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has just become official a few minutes ago in China, which appears the only market that will receive the phone. Although the new Galaxy C9 Pro is definitely not a smartphone that can rival the iPhone 7 or replace the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7, the handset stands out as Samsung's first smartphone to feature 6GB of RAM.

The display of the new Samsung Galaxy C9 is a 6-inch panel running at a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels.

On the inside beats the heart of Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 653 chipset, a SoC that integrates an octa-core CPU consisting out of four blazing-fast ARM Cortex-A72 CPU cores and four additional low-power ARM Cortex-A53 Cores. The Snapdragon 653 also integrates an Adreno 510 GPU. Overall, we're expecting to see pretty decent performance levels coming out of the Snapdragon 653, especially so for an upper mid-range device.

When it comes to the design, the metal-build Galaxy C9 Pro appears to be a mix between the design language that Samsung adopts with most of its Galaxy phones, although we can definitely see some resemblance to Huawei's Mate phones as well as to Oppo's new R9 Plus.

In the memory department, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro features 6GB of RAM as well as 64GB of integrated storage space. If that's not enough storage space for the user's needs, a microSD card slot is there to the rescue.

As far as the imaging department is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy C9 is equipped with 16MP cameras on both the front and the back. Both lenses feature a wide f1.9 aperture.

Keeping the lights on is a 4,000mAh battery. The capacity is higher than on most smartphones, but the extra power consumption that a large 6-inch panel entails will probably translate into average battery life overall.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor embedded the home button, stereo speakers at the top and bottom, USB Type-C, a pair of 4G LTE SIM slots, as well as a Hi-Fi audio codec made by Cirrus. Furthermore, the Galaxy C9 Pro also comes with Samsung Pay, the technology that allows users to pay for goods and services with their phones on both NFC or MSFT terminals.

On the software side, Samsung's new Galaxy C9 will run Android 6.0.1 out of the box, with the company's own TouchWiz UX layer on top.

The Galaxy C9 Pro comes in Gold and Rose Gold (both white a white front) and is priced at the equivalent of about 470 US dollars.

Good Morning Everyone.,If you are like Me that Enjoys playing Large file HD Games on your Android Device, then this Article is for you.

Sometimes, it might be your RAM SIZE and sometimes it might be the low memory space of your device, that's why i took a time out to Crawl the we, i found a lotta fix to this, most of them were just extensive but i actually came across a more Easier and quickest  method to fix this and get your gaming experience back on track on your device!

BRIEF REVIEW

Today some apps store big files over the internal SD card (e.g. games, podcasts, offline RSS content, pictures, videos, offline navigation software). Typically users have a small internal sd card size (~16GB) while the external SD is a lot bigger (~32-64GB). Most of these apps users download from the Play Store save their application data in the internal sdcard by default and don't have an option to use the external SD card to store data so they starve your internal SD card memory. FolderMount is the solution to this issue. This app has the ability to link folders in your internal sdcard to folders in your external sdcard thereby populating the internal sdcard folders with content that really exists in the external card. This helps us free space and have multiple games/apps with big data stored simultaneously without the need to uninstall. For Nexus devices with no external sdcard, this application should help link folders to a usb flash drive for example.

* The files will exist in both the source and destination after mounting. This is expected and is normal. The files you see in your internal sdcard actually reside in your external sdcard now and if you "unpin" the pair, you'll see that your internal sdcard is empty again.

Lenovo has recently unveiled its new series of super affordable phones at IFA 2016 in Berlin, and my blog partners from PhoneArena were there to take a look and see what they are all about.

The Lenovo K6 series, the new entry-level series, comes in three models: the most affordable Lenovo K6, the K6 Power with larger battery, and the K6 Note with its larger display.

All of the K6 series share the same essential running block: they are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 system chip featuring an octa-core CPU with eight Cortex A53s running at up to 1.4GHz. Compared to other modern chips, this one is built on the rather old 28nm manufacturing process, so while sufficient, the performance of this chip is definitely in the lower end of the market.

A nice addition to all of these super affordable devices is a fingerprint reader located on the back that adds an extra layer of security. With this in mind, let's look at each one of them in more detail. All of the K6 phones run on Lenovo's user interface on top of Android 6 Marshmallow.

Lenovo K6 Note

The Lenovo K6 Note features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixel) display and sports the most advanced camera of the trio, a 16MP phase-detection auto-focus snapper with dual CCT flash, while up front it has an 8MP selfie shooter. On its back, you'd find the speakers that are enhanced with Dolby Atmos tweaks to the sound profile.

The K6 Note ships with 32GB of internal storage that you can expand via microSD cards of up to 128 gigs.
