Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro officially unveiled as the manufacturer's first phone with 6GB of RAM

Following a series of rumors and leaks, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro has just become official a few minutes ago in China, which appears the only market that will receive the phone. Although the new Galaxy C9 Pro is definitely not a smartphone that can rival the iPhone 7 or replace the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7, the handset stands out as Samsung's first smartphone to feature 6GB of RAM.

The display of the new Samsung Galaxy C9 is a 6-inch panel running at a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels.

On the inside beats the heart of Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 653 chipset, a SoC that integrates an octa-core CPU consisting out of four blazing-fast ARM Cortex-A72 CPU cores and four additional low-power ARM Cortex-A53 Cores. The Snapdragon 653 also integrates an Adreno 510 GPU. Overall, we're expecting to see pretty decent performance levels coming out of the Snapdragon 653, especially so for an upper mid-range device.

When it comes to the design, the metal-build Galaxy C9 Pro appears to be a mix between the design language that Samsung adopts with most of its Galaxy phones, although we can definitely see some resemblance to Huawei's Mate phones as well as to Oppo's new R9 Plus.

In the memory department, the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro features 6GB of RAM as well as 64GB of integrated storage space. If that's not enough storage space for the user's needs, a microSD card slot is there to the rescue.

As far as the imaging department is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy C9 is equipped with 16MP cameras on both the front and the back. Both lenses feature a wide f1.9 aperture.

Keeping the lights on is a 4,000mAh battery. The capacity is higher than on most smartphones, but the extra power consumption that a large 6-inch panel entails will probably translate into average battery life overall.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor embedded the home button, stereo speakers at the top and bottom, USB Type-C, a pair of 4G LTE SIM slots, as well as a Hi-Fi audio codec made by Cirrus. Furthermore, the Galaxy C9 Pro also comes with Samsung Pay, the technology that allows users to pay for goods and services with their phones on both NFC or MSFT terminals.

On the software side, Samsung's new Galaxy C9 will run Android 6.0.1 out of the box, with the company's own TouchWiz UX layer on top.

The Galaxy C9 Pro comes in Gold and Rose Gold (both white a white front) and is priced at the equivalent of about 470 US dollars.

No word about Huawei Mate 9 launch date has been claimed, but with IFA 2016 only a few days away, we hope it’s gonna be there, in Berlin.

In terms of specifications, this device carries a Helio P20 64-bit octa-core chip set, 6GB RAM, 32GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB), a 5.5 Inch Full HD display, a 8MP secondary + 12MP primary camera package, and a 3,000mAh cell supporting fast charging tech. In general, this is a very powerful machine with a beautiful appearance and a super affordable price.

5. ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe

ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe was announced not a few months ago, but has just gone on sale recently. The Deluxe version containing a Snapdragon 820 processor and 6GB RAM costs around $645. Other ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe specs are a 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen, 64GB ROM (expandable), a 3,000mAh batt, and a set of 23MP main + 8MP selfie snapper.

6. Samsung Galaxy Note 7

We all know that Samsung has introduced their Galaxy Note 7 with 4GB RAM, not a 6GB phablet as we expected. But, wait, don’t get upset too fast! A new report has just revealed that a 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM model got certified by the Chinese equivalent of the FCC, which means a 6GB RAM Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is real! And according to the source, it will cost 6,088 Yuan (~$912). For those who want to purchase it, save your money and prepare to go to China!

7. OnePlus 3 Mini

Finally, a mini version of OnePlus 3 will end our list. It can be small on the outside, but don’t underestimate it on the inside. Alleged leaked benchmarks for the handset have showed up on GFXBench, revealing that OnePlus 3 Mini specs will contain a 4.6-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 820 chip, 6GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of internal memory, and a 16MP rear-facing + 8MP front camera combo. Let’s wait and see!

Downgrade Samsung Galaxy S6 from Marshmallow 6.0 to Lollipop 5.1.1

Hi Guys..,a Customer brought a Galaxy S6 Edge to my Office today and insisted on downgrading it from Marshmallow to Lollipop. So i decided to downgrade from marshmallow 6.0  to lollipop 5.1.1 and i was able to do that  successfully. That's why i decided to Share with you Guys on here!

1.Download, Extract and Install the Samsung USB Drivers (then reboot)

2.Enable Developer Mode on the Galaxy S6

3.Enable USB Debugging on the Galaxy S6

4. Download Samsung Kies and back up your phone data. Remove the microSD card from your phone .

 5. Download the lollipop firmware from SamMobile. unzip it.

6.Download and extract Odin.

7.Power down the phone.

8. Press and hold the following buttons in order: Volume Down + Home + Power. Keep holding them until you see a screen that says "Warning!!" at the top.

9. Press the Volume Up button to continue.

10. The next screen will show the Android logo and say "ODIN MODE" at the top left.


11.Run Odin as administrator. Under Options, only "F. Reset Time" should be checked.(Uncheck"Auto Reboot" ).

12. Click the "AP" (or "PDA") box and browse for the extracted firmware file.

13. Now connect your phone to your computer via USB.

14.Wait until you see your phone plugged in.

15. Press Start in Odin.

16. When Odin is successfully finished, you will see in the Message box "All threads completed"
(it may take several minutes to complete so be patient).

17.Don't turn on the phone.

18. Press in order: Volume Up + Home + Power until you see an Android screen.

19. Use Volume Down to scroll to "wipe data/factory reset" and press Power to select it. (Make sure you have backed up your phone!)

20. On the next screen, scroll to Yes, select it, and your phone will reset.

21.When it's done, select reboot system now and it will reboot.

22. Restore your data using Samsung Kies. This will restore most of everything; you may need to re-setup the home screens and some of your settings.
