First look at Grant Gustin’s ‘The Flash’ Season 2 suit

Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is getting a superhero makeover for Season 2 of “The Flash.”

The CW revealed the first look at Gustin in his new suit and it’s got a bit of a retro vibe to it. The biggest change is to the lightning bolt medallion on his chest, which falls more in line with how the comics and the original ’90s TV show portrayed The Flash’s look. The medallion now features a white background, making the bolt of lightning stand out even more.

While Barry’s new look is definitely an upgrade, viewers will see more versions of The Flash suit than just his in Season 2.

With the multiverse playing a role in the series, Jay Garrick — The Flash on Earth 2 — will make his way to Central City. Fans briefly saw his metal helmet during the Season 1 finale. The show will also introduce Wally West, who has been both Kid Flash and The Flash in the comics.


“The Flash” returns Tuesday, Oct. 6, on The CW.
