Recently, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop firmware update was released for
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users, and this is the final lollipop update for
Galaxy Note 4 users, as Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the next update that
would be pushed to the device soonest.
Before you begin the flashing process, first download Galaxy USB drivers on your computer, then enable USB debugging on your Galaxy Note 4 smartphone, go to settings >> developers option. If developer’s option isn’t visible on your galaxy device, simply go to about phone under settings and scroll down to build number, then tap build number up to 7 times to make developers option visible.
Step 1: Firstly, download official XXU1COH4 Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Firmware here, and move the downloaded files to the internal storage of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 device.
Step 2: After that, Boot your Galaxy Note 4 into Download Mode. To perform the operation, you have to power off your device and then press, Volume Down + Power + Home. Press Volume Up now to continue to Download Mode.
Step 3: Once your device is in download mode, simply connect the phone to your PC via the use of USB cable and the ODIN application would notify an added message.
Step 4: After that, choose AP in Odin and select the firmware file in which you have downloaded. Also endeavor that the re-partition is not ticked in the odin.
Step 5: Finally, click on the start button, and the process would begin immediately. Once the process is completed, you would notice the RESET or PASS message on the ODIN screen. Then your device would boot into recovery mode, and the device would be restarted automatically.
