Latest Dell Inspiron 15-700 Review, Full Specifications And Price

I have heard folks say the battery of a laptop is more important than the performance. Well I can't say how true that is but just in case you also buy into same philosophy then Dell got a deal for you with the 2015 version of the Dell Inspiron 15 700.

Aside offering a serviceable Core i5 processor with a mid-level Nvidia GPU, the Dell Inspiron 15 700 packs a battery that can endure for up to 10 hours when fully charged and subjected to basic use like Web surfing, multimedia uses, etc. Put these together and you may be successful in convincing me to go for the Inspiron 15 700 as compared to the Lenovo Y700 notebook.

THE DESIGN
Like other gaming laptops in it class the Dell Inspiron 15 700 doesn't all the flashy lights and looks but Dell still managed to make a fence between performance and looks.

More to note is that Dell was able to handle ports and connectivity very well. A quick glance around the Inspiring 15's right reveals a single USB 3.0 port, HDMI, a 2-in-1 card reader, Gigabit Ethernet and a Kensington secure lock slot. On the left are a pair of USB 3.0 ports and Jackson for a headset and power.

CONFIGURATION
My review unit of the Dell Inspiron 15-700 came loaded with a 2.3-GHz Intel Core i5-6300HQ processor with 8GB of RAM, a 1TB 5,400-rpm hybrid hard drive with its 8GB Flash cache, an Intel HD Graphics 530 GPU and a Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M GPU with 4GB of VRAM.

With this configuration the Inspiron 15-700 easily survived when I streamed series of movies on two separate table with other either open tabs in Google Chrome.
