iTel Mobile may not be a popular brand in Nigeria, but they surely have their customers in mind. They are currently working on releasing one of their biggest device coming with 5000mAh battery capacity. 

Information on this is still sketchy. But before you buy your next iTel mobile phone, follow the guide below to ensure the phone and battery are original before buying.

Please follow these steps to make sure the ‪#‎itelMobile you buy from a shop is original.
1. Enter the IMEI and VC number of the device into this site: gc.itel-mobile.com
2. Dial *#06# to check IMEI and find VC number by removing the battery. 

Please remember to check the originality of the itel phone before you buy it from a retail/wholesale phone shop. 
Lots of fake devices posing to be original are everywhere now. 

some of you are even using fake Tecno phones thinking its original Tecno. Follow the guide below to check if your Tecno is original or fake.

How Can I Check If My Techno Phone is Original?

1. Visit http://gc.tecno-mobile.com 

2. Enter your IMEI code and VC code in the relevant field and submit.
3. You will get a response informing you if the phone is GENUINE or NOT.

The same process is equally applicable to check if your battery is original or not. Mind you, Techno  is not like all this Pkonkius, Chinco phones that has television or if possible “dvd”, but a global brand with a difference. Lol!!!

Which Do You Prefer? Removable VS Non Removable Mobile Battery

Phone geeks must have been wondering why suddenly Phone manufacturers switched to non-removable battery. Some of us don’t really like the facts that most smartphones company now produces non removable battery devices. I’ve been privileged to interact with different individual regarding their choice of smartphone and majority of them prefers removable while some don’t really care.


You’ll notice that the use of Universal charger is gradually going out of the market and being replaced with Power banks because most devices now have inbuilt battery.

Personally, I don’t like devices with inbuilt battery because when it eventually lags you have to wait for the battery to run down before you can restart it (what if your device is like that of Ouikitel K10000 whose battery can last you for 10days without charging, meaning you have to wait for 15days before you restart it?). What if you device fall into water or hot pepper soup, how will you dry it if you can’t remove the battery? That may be the end.

Manufacturers don’t want you to tamper with the battery and integral part of the phone that is why they keep producing non removable battery devices.
