BlackBerry's October Android update brings Improvements to Hub+, Launcher, Keyboard, and Many More
Good Day everyone, i can tell you guys have Missed My Updates on here and I'm so sorry for not been able to Update you all. Had issues with my PC but I'm working on getting it fixed tho.

But yeah, as always i've got great news for you guys, You all know its the month of October and BlackBerry has decided to offer some nice treats to its valuable customers. So if you're using any of BlackBerry's Android apps, you'll be more than pleased with what you'll get.

The Canadian company has just announced that the October Android update comes with lots of new features and improvements for several BlackBerry applications that are already very popular among users.

First of all, the BlackBerry Hub+ is getting Facebook Messenger support, so users will now be able to see and open all their chats and other messages directly within Hub+. The app also receive a new feature that allows users to save an image in the body of an email much easier: simply press and hold on the email and that should do it.

Another important app developed by BlackBerry, the Android Keyboard now features multiple ways to switch languages, as well as global gesture support (“swipe and delete” has been enabled as a settings option if using Type by Swiping).

Also, the BlackBerry Android Keyboard app includes more enterprise security, as users can now separate vocabulary learned in their personal space from words learned in their work space. That's pretty neat.

The BlackBerry Launcher received quite a few fixes in notifications, performance, and visuals. The new dynamic calendar icon available for devices powered by Android 5.0 or higher shows the current date.

Furthermore, those who are using the BlackBerry Password Keeper app will be happy to know that developers have improved privacy, so they will benefit from secure lists (i.e. gift list, to-do list, bucket list).

But the most important new feature is the fingerprint sensor support, which is available to all those who user BlackBerry Password Keeper on a smartphone with a fingerprint sensor.

Last but not least, the October Android update brings some performance optimizations for the BlackBerry camera application, along with some fixes to Hub, Calendar, Contact, Notes, and Tasks.

Those who use one or more of these BlackBerry applications for Android will be notified when these updates are available for download, but you can always check them out on Google Play.

WhatsApp to Discontinue Supports For All Blackberry Devices & Others
This is an everlasting blow on all blackberry users not just blackberry users but to all windows phone 7.1 users because WhatsApp have announced to discontinue supports for all version of Blackberry OS including Blackberry OS 10 and older version of blackberry devices and to those Android still running OS 2.1 and 2.2.

WhatsApp earlier this week celebrated 7years of existence and therefore announce that the following devices will no longer offer the kind of capabilities that WhatsApp requires to expand their app’s features in the future.
  • BlackBerry, including BlackBerry 10
  • Nokia S40
  • Nokia Symbian S60
  • Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
  • Windows Phone 7.1
This explains one of the reasons why Blackberry wants to dump Blackberry OS to Android OS. So if you are still using any of the above devices, its time to be planning on getting an iPhone or Android devices. Hence, Blackberry users sorry to blow you right in the eye because there is no future for Blackberry Phones running on Blackberry OS.
Those of you still running Android 2.1 and 2.2 OS, your next neighbor shouldn’t know that’s what you are running before you’ll entirely disappoint Android family. Nokia S60 and S40 users, Infinix Hot 3 is about to be launch at a more cheaper price, hence its advisable you get yourself one before the end of the year.
