Am very sorry Guys for posting this very Late. Right now,i just have to post it,so here it goes guys!
The latest update to the popular Blackberry Messenger (BBM) app now allows users like display pictures (DP) and status update of their friends.
This change is recent and I am certain that you have to update the app to be able to enjoy this feature. This update will now make BBM which is almost overtaken by Whatsapp more interactive and engaging compared to the “Oh Yeah I saw your DP”or when you just write a comment about the DP or Personal message (PM) when updated by someone on your friend list.
The BBM feeds timeline now features a noticeable ‘thumbs up’ or ‘Like’ button like you have on Facebook, just below the display picture and the changed personal message. The essence of this update is to increase engagements with contents but I fear that this may just make some people resolve to just hitting the Like button on the image and the PM instead of writing a comment.
When a picture or PM is liked, you will get a notification that lets you know there is an engagement on your content. You also get to see the number of likes a changed DP or PM has gathered over time.
Blackberry also toned up the message retract function due to wishes from users to have better control over their messages. A recent BBM update also enables users retract both pictures and entire chats in addition to individual messages.
Not only can you retract, you can edit previously sent message(s), re-send them and also delete messages locally from your chat if you so wish.
These updates are available on the Blackberry store, Apple app store and Google Play store.
